The Hop Schedule for all of the recipes on this site have been adjusted for the shorter boil. But if you’re making up a recipe, or converting a conventional recipe, you’ll need to adjust the hops. At this point, you’ll need to do some math. For a five-gallon batch with a 15 minute boil, you’d need to approximately quadruple the amount of Bittering hops. But since we’re using a two-gallon batch, you can get away with doubling the Bittering hops.
Finally, since the boil duration is a quarter of the normal boil time, you’ll need to divide all the addition times by four. So, the 60 minute addition is now a 15-minute addition, a 30 minute addition is now a 7.5 minute addition, etc …
